2 Chronicles 25:16

16But as he was speaking, the king said to him, “Have we made you a royal counselor? Stop! Why should you be struck down?” So the prophet stopped, but said, “I know that aGod has determined to destroy you, because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.”

Amos 7:12-13

12And Amaziah said to Amos, b“O seer, go, flee away cto the land of Judah, and deat bread there, and prophesy there, 13but enever again prophesy at Bethel, for fit is the king’s sanctuary, and it is a temple of the kingdom.”

John 11:47-53

47So the chief priests and the Pharisees ggathered hthe council and said, iWhat are we to do? For this man performs many signs. 48If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and jthe Romans will come and take away both our kplace and our nation.” 49But one of them, lCaiaphas, mwho was high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all. 50Nor do you understand that nit is better for you that one man should die for the people, not that the whole nation should perish.” 51He did not say this of his own accord, but obeing high priest that year phe prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52and qnot for the nation only, but also rto gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. 53So from that day on they smade plans to put him to death.

Acts 4:17-21

17But in order that it may spread no further among the people, let us warn them tto speak no more to anyone in this name.” 18So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19But Peter and John answered them, uWhether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, 20for vwe cannot but speak of what wwe have seen and heard.” 21And when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, xbecause of the people, for all were praising God yfor what had happened.

Acts 5:28

28saying, z“We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you aaintend to bring this man’s blood upon us.”

Acts 5:40

40and abwhen they had called in the apostles, acthey beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
